Diffrent situations at office

Today I will tell you two sparse situations at my office. It may not be the proper thing to share at blog, but I thought I should tell you the experiences that I faced in two different days at my office.
The first one was a story at my training time. For reader’s interest, I am mentioning that our office generally start at 9 am. On 10 am there are very few persons arrive, maximum people arrive on or after 11 am and they stay till 8 to 9 pm as we have 9 hours shift. But depends on work we even stay further. We were 7 new joiners and we were divided into two shift. First one 8am – 2pm and second one 2 pm – 8 pm. I chose the morning shift. So I have to come before 8 am. At that time I did not know the normal time of people to come at office. So within 7:45 am I reached at my office. It took 1 hour to reach to the destination in a cold winter. When I reached at the reception, the security men astonished to see me at the odd timing. As our company is a MNC company so people are working 24 hours. Generally the night shift people go home at 7 am. So when I entered the office there were very few countable people were working and some of them prepared for leaving. I was going towards my ODC(technical name of a room where I am working). There are several ODC for different jobs. In my ODC there are more than 70 people are working. After punching my identity card at the ODC’s door when I entered at our room I was surprised to see that the room was empty and dark. Only the luster of sun was coming through windows. May be it is very common to very people who come first at ODC, but for my case it is totally new. First I switched on the lights and went to my sit. There was no scream of calls, no voice of people, so it was absolutely pin drop of silence. I went out of my ODC and saw there was hardly 1 or 2 people were there at different ODC. Similarly there was some where no one present. I took a cup of coffee and went back at my sit and start working. After an hour my colleague came and some other people was coming slowly. Then it was again normal condition and ODC got back its charm.
The second one was totally contrary to first one. It was a story of late night at my ODC. I stayed till 8:30 pm before that day. But on that day 8:30 pm was just evening. At the evening I came to know that tonight we have to stay till night for some urgent work. I thought it will be maximum 11pm. All the people started leaving after 8 pm and at 9:30 pm it was only our group that means 12 people including manager. At 11 pm our manager told us to take the dinner. He had ordered mutton biriyani with chicken afgani. It was no doubt delicious food for all of us to bolster some energy for night’s work. After completing our dinner we went down at ground floor (we sit at 6th floor) and went outside of gate for some relaxation. It was a pleasant weather with cold air blowing. After coming back we again started work. We all booked our respective car as there is a rule of our company that after 11 pm they provide you cab to reach you safety in your house. We first booked 12 am cab but as we have not finished our job so cancelled the first one and booked the 2 am cab. We finished our job at 1:30 am and went down to catch my cab. Catching cab was also the first time experience for me as I have mentioned that I did not stay till night before that. It was an ambassador and I saw that there was 4 people’s list on that car. One was at Dunlop, then me at alambazar, rest two were dakhineswar and dankuni respectively. It was one girl and we three boys and our dedicated old driver. When I entered at the car I saw that the girl was already seated and the rest two boys was standing outside of the door. I took the seat of beside driver. Our car started at 2:10 am after completing its formality and running on an empty road. I came to know that the other three people were from BPO job. So they used to return at night but for my case it was totally exciting. It took only 30 minutes to reach at Dunlop(which normally take nearly 1 hr) and the Dunlop lady took the car to her house and got down. Then it was my time. I took the car in a narrow lane thinking that it will be shortest distance to reach, but after going some distance I saw that there was a puja pandel which blocked the road. So the driver again went back and chose a different road. He and the rest two boys were become angry to me. They could not say anything but on that time I became prune to them. Driver said “you should know the information whether it was blocked or not”. At last, I reached my house ending my night journey from office.
